Brightly's SaaS products allow enterprise clients—spanning manufacturing, education, healthcare, and government—manage a combined portfolio of over $200 billion in physical asset values.

However, clients were struggling with inefficient, manual workflows that led to redundant tasks and unexpected equipment downtime, driving up operational costs and creating significant data integrity challenges.

I joined the team as a lead designer on AI initiatives to tackle these challenges directly. My mission was to design intelligent, scalable solutions that move maintenance from a reactive, manual process to a proactive, data-informed one.

The goal is to build trust and clarity, creating a copilot experience rather than an autopilot. I learned to design user-facing AI in a way that preserves trust, reduces cognitive load, and bridges the gap between complex backend logic and a user-friendly interface.
